Introduction to College Counseling

Our God says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

First Lutheran is committed to support our students in making their dreams and Gods plan become a reality. The Counseling/College Planning department assists parents and students in the following ways.

  • Help students with the college search and the college application processes
  • Informs students of testing, application, and financial aid deadlines
  • Provides a FAFSA workshop to aid students and parents who are seeking institutional, state, and federal aid
  • Counsel students on the SAT and ACT tests
  • Assist students and parents with their specific questions and concerns regarding college
Please visit our "College Resource" page listed under the Academics tab. There you will find detailed information from SAT testing, to the college application proccess, and financial aid. We have even provided a page with upcoming dates on registration deadlines, testing dates, seminars, and workshops!
