Extended Day Care (EDC)
First Lutheran Elementary School offers a safe and supervised Extended Day Care program for those children who must arrive before 8:15 a.m. and remain after 3:15 p.m. on school days.
 
EDC morning hours are 7:00 to 8:15 A.M. and the afternoon hours are 3:15 to 6:00 P.M.
 
Morning activities include game time and free play in the gym or outside (as weather permits). During the after school hours, students enjoy a 45 minute recess followed by a supervised study hall.

Families with children in any portion of the EDC program are charged by the hour. You may call the office for current hourly rate. This service is billed separately from school tuition.  Questions regarding billing can be answered by contacting Mrs. Arndt in the school office at (818) 361-4800.

 
.PLEASE NOTE:
  1. Day Care will be available on the first day of school
  2. Day Care is available on all other scheduled half days. Day Care is NOT available on vacation days.
  3. Each child is to be signed in for the day by parent or guardian, (18 years of age or older), and signed out when picked up.
  4. All information regarding EDC policy, rules, regulations, and billing may be found in the Grade School handbook or in the enrollment packet for new students.
